Carson Hedlund, a sophomore at San Jose Pioneer High in California, took third in the elite section of the 1,600 meters in 4:15.73 and finished fourth in the top section of the 800 meters in 1:55.36 at the Dublin Distance Fiesta at Gaels Stadium in Dublin, Calif.
